Of late Mass communication and journalism has gained immense popularity among the youths of Assam and the neighbouring states as well. The latest trends in the field show wide prospect of employment in journalism, advertisement and other fields of mass communication for the brilliant students not only in the North-East but also across the globe. Besides the unprecedented increase in the number of newspapers, Journals and magazines from the State, a number of big business organizations have expanded their operation in the region.
